How to restrict recursive display to objects having depth 2 or greater?

I need a conditional display on a recursive trace: if a hit at the first level doesn't have any subsequent deeper hits, don't display it. Only display the level 1 item when it has an associated level 2 object, and if it has level 2 or more objects, display the objects from all levels.

I've attached the recursive dxl generated from an unsupported, single column display, impact wizard I got from Telelogic long ago, with an image of its results and a description of the desired results.

This seems like it should be fairly easy, but my attempts at manipulating the wizard code give me all the level 1 objects, or none at all! I'd appreciate any assitance, thanks!

two attempts to attach .docx files appear to have failed. here's a third attempt, with an rtf. all looks well on my end, but the attachments don't seem to post. hmmmmm. more fun with ibm web sites...
